In 2015 we made the horrible discovery that the ½ duplex that we had just purchased was riddled with exterior rot.  We were in search of a reputable company to assist us with the project and Renewal Constructions Inc. came highly recommended from two of the top rainscreen engineering firms in Vancouver.  We hired Renewal Constructions to be the general contractor of the (initially) partial envelope reconstruction. Due to site constraints the project was very complex and the as the scope of work continued to expand into an almost complete envelope redo.  During the entire process Beni and his team at Renewal provided clear communication and organized, excellent service. Beni’s ability to be calm and remain focused on solutions was refreshing. His entire crew and related subtrades were knowledgeable, approachable, and always eager to help.

RDH Building Engineering Ltd. has worked with Renewal Constructions Inc. on a large number of building envelope rehabilitation projects over the past 12 years. Renewal Constructions has provided a variety of services which include the supply and  installation of waterproof sheathing membranes, sealants, painting, window hardware upgrades, IGU replacements, and some roofing work. At all times Renewal has demonstrated an eagerness to meet contract requirements and to complete the work efficiently. UBC had the opportunity to work with Renewal Constructions Inc. in the summer / fall of 2013.  The work involved the mitigation of Building Envelope issues and related interior repairs to the Scarfe Classroom Building at UBC.  Renewal Constructions carried out the work successfully in a timely manner and were within budget, on time and on schedule for the project.  They were professional, proactive and condusive to UBC needs and procedures.  I would recommend them for future projects.

SilveBirch Hotels & Resorts hired Renewal Constructions for a project that involved waterproofing and structural upgrades to exterior stairwell at our Residence Inn by Marriott Vancouver Downtown hotel property.  The project was completed in a timely manner with adherence to project specifications and required adjustments due to site conditions.  The work was completed in a highly professional manner by competent and skilled tradespeople.  Communication and response from Renewal Constructions was prompt and clearly communicated.  Renewal Constructions was responsive to requirements of an operating hotel during construction.  The hotel was left in excellent condition after the work was completed.  It was a pleasure to work with Renewal Constructions and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Renewal Constructions conducted the exterior painting at 2142 Carolina St., Vancouver.  The Strata Corporation was very impressed with the attention to detail, as well as the care with which the painters handled and protected the personal items on the balconies and patios.  Overall, the Strata Corporation are more than pleased with Renewal's work.

Building a new home is tough, especially for people like us, new in the field. We hired Renewal Constructions Inc. to be the general contractor for our full envelope replacement. It was an extensive project. In spite of a horrid winter, with record rain and cold, Renewal finished the work on budget and in slightly more time than projected.  Renewal was unfailingly professional, and delivered a first rate product. Renewal worked with patience, and always with respect, with our strata council. The Site Supervisor, Dustan Tucker, was courteous and prepared to listen, and always answered the concerns of all owners respectfully.  At the end of the project all owners were universally happy with the work.
